Auditions for "The Key" (Arts and Entertainment)

On Sunday March 21, Monday March 22, and Tuesday March 23 vocal auditions will be held to cast Metro Detroit’s own new musical, THE KEY. Written by local composer, librettist, and playwright Cindi Rosner Kelly, The Key is a 4-act, through-composed musical with a cast size of at least 21. Each part has significant solo and chorus material to be performed…a vocalist’s joy. SATBB voice parts are sought with a variety of age ranges needed. The leading roles will be paid. If our grant monies come through, each casted role will receive an honorarium. Performances will be held November 20 and November 21 at the Seligman Performing Arts Center in Beverly Hills, Michigan. THE KEY is a love story set on the campus of a Big Ten University in the 1970’s. It is a tale that reflects how the wrongs of human nature can unexpectedly be righted at later stages of life. For audition information and important updates, please visit and bookmark www.thekeythemusical.com.To book an audition time or request audition materials, please call(248) 683-3637 or email thekey2010@yahoo.com.
